Pesto Genovese

50 g Vedrini pine nuts
1 clove garlic
1 dl olive oil
100 g fresh basil
100 g parmesan cheese
a pinch of salt
174 teaspoon pepper

Toast pine nuts in the  pan  at medium heat. In this way, the pine nut releases its aroma. Put the pine nuts in the electric chopper and pour half the olive oil, add the parmesan and mix thoroughly. Finally  add basil leaves and mix again.
