600 g beef
2 cloves of garlic and 2 chopped onions
½ teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper
¼ teaspoon cinnamon, ginger, cumin
¼ teaspoon red pepper powder
¼ teaspoon nutmeg, coriander
olive oil, 1 tablespoon of honey
1 cup of Vedrini apricot
Mix all spices. Heat heavy- based pan. Add onions, garlic, olive oil, chopped meat and sprinkle with the prepared mixture of spices. Simmer for about 1 hour. If necessary add some water. Then add apricots and honey and cook for another hour over low heat. Serve hot.
